Next Book Club Selection – You Decide!

It’s time to vote for our next book selection!  The books that were suggested by book club members are listed here with links to summaries.  Whatever book has the most votes by Friday will be our next selection.

The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

The List by Siobhan Vivian

It’s Kind of a Funny Story by Ned Vizzini

Tomorrow, When the War Began  by John Marsden

Looking for Alaska by John Green

Looking for Alibrandi by Melina Marchetta

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak

My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult

Divergent by Veronica Roth

The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank

Gone by Michael Grant

Boy Toy by Barry Lyga

Fateful by Claudia Gray

And  Pinball 1973 by Haruki Murakami was also suggested but will not be included in the poll only because the focus of  this book club is young adult books.  (I do, however really like Murakami’s bizarre books, so I’ll probably be checking this one out!)

  1. The top 2 books have the same percentage! That’s funny :-D. I’ve read all the summaries and the books that seemed most interesting to me (and not suggested by me) are Boy Toy, It’s kind of a funny story and Divergent. There are some really good picks here!
Today, there was a Mashable article about adapted novels this year and there was a book mentioned that sounded awesome. It’s called “If I Stay”. I already had goosebumps when reading the summary.
